Meet the team: JAM-IT's Office Manager Clarissa

In this blog series we introduce our people to you. Today we introduce Clarissa, our Office Manager.

The adventure of a fresh start in the Netherlands

Clarissa came to the Netherlands from Brazil 11 years ago for a gap year after studying Law. Although that fresh start was daunting at first, she soon felt at home in the Netherlands. She liked it so much that she decided to stay. Before she started at JAM-IT, she took a lot of Dutch lessons to get a better grip on the language. She also did voluntary work to meet new people and learn the language faster. Clarissa has a real sweet tooth, and in her free time she enjoys baking, reading, gardening, DIY and travelling.

Looking after the team

Clarissa started out keeping JAM-IT's bookkeeping and administration. Her role soon grew and her position was expanded to Office Manager. Her most important role within the team is, in her own words, to look after the team and organise fun things for them.

What Clarissa enjoys so much about working at JAM-IT is the friendly, informal atmosphere. Clarissa intends to grow along with the company and to expand her tasks and responsibilities as the company grows.
