Mendix Business Engineer
An experienced software developer who decides for themselves which technology a project is best built with.
JAM-IT builds IT solutions for organisations, and thinks along about the business process itself while doing so. Our speciality is the Mendix platform, and we also have years of experience in Java and Blueriq.
We have been going for more than six years and work with a permanent team of six people and a number of independent professionals, for clients across all kinds of sectors.
We take on most projects under our own management. That means we decide ourselves how, and with which technologies, a project is best carried out.
Only with that freedom do you build software that matches what a client actually needs, rather than what was prescribed.
The same freedom makes the work more challenging: no two projects are built the same way.
You do not have to tick every box. The first four carry the most weight.
At university or university of applied sciences, and experience with software development in practice.
You want to know how something works, not only that it works.
You sit at the table with clients, so you can explain what you are building and why. You have a good command of Dutch and English.
Experience with Scrum, modelling techniques, testing or BPM tooling is an advantage, not a requirement.
Short and without detours. You speak to the people you would be working with, not to a department in between.
