qlinker is a digital housing association that offers rental homes through a mobile app.
qlinker is a fully digital housing association for social rented homes in Utrecht. With their mobile app, users can view what is on offer, register for homes, be allocated a home and even sign the tenancy agreement. By digitising and automating these processes, renting is made as easy as possible for everyone.
To automate all these processes, smart systems are needed. For that, qlinker works with WoCo Innovations, a specialist in software for housing associations. They devised the concept for Toewijzen Op Maat and asked JAM-IT to develop it with them.
Toewijzen Op Maat is the ranking software qlinker uses to determine who is eligible for which home.
The software pulls data from various systems and uses smart logic to determine the user's position on the waiting list. This process runs entirely automatically.
The rules within the system can be adjusted to match legislation or organisational policy. For the housing association, factors such as priority situations, personal details, housing preferences and property details matter. If factors are added or changed, WoCo Innovations can adapt the functionality accordingly.
Toewijzen Op Maat is built to be connected to other applications. The software communicates with the qlinker app through an API integration. That allows qlinker to keep its own design and interface, and connect it to the system easily.
JAM-IT developed Toewijzen Op Maat on the Blueriq platform. This is a visual way of programming, so all parties had insight into the development process.
Thanks to automated home allocation, qlinker can offer its users maximum convenience and service. Users can arrange their rental affairs themselves on their smartphone, which makes those processes efficient and user-friendly.
The resources the organisation saves by removing manual actions and administration can be used to improve their services and offer personal service.
qlinker's mission is to make everything around renting a home easier and more user-friendly. That includes matching house hunters to the homes on offer.
Commissioned by WoCo Innovations, JAM-IT developed the Toewijzen Op Maat functionality. It uses smart rules to determine automatically which candidates are eligible for a home.
Finally, it has been made clear to qlinker how Toewijzen Op Maat determines users' ranking. Those insights can be used to optimise the systems and service further still.
