Meet the team: JAM-IT's Mendix Business Engineer Jeffrey

In this blog series we introduce our people to you. Today we introduce Jeffrey, one of our Mendix Business Engineers.

On to a new IT adventure

Jeffrey is 31 years old and started at JAM-IT about six months ago to train as a Mendix Business Engineer. He has a background as a Planner and enjoyed working at FRUIT OP JE WERK a great deal, but after 8 years he decided it was time for a new challenge in a different direction.

Jeffrey was inspired by his wife, who started building her IT career very successfully a few years ago. That made him realise that Mendix was an accessible way for him to improve his IT skills and grow further in this line of work. He went looking for a small-scale company with plenty of personal guidance, and that is how he ended up at JAM-IT.

In his free time Jeffrey likes doing fun things with his wife and child, heading out into nature for a long walk or having a drink with friends or family.

Role in the team

Jeffrey's role within the JAM-IT team consists of coming up with solutions for companies and developing apps from A to Z. What he enjoys about working at JAM-IT is the small scale of the company and the team spirit. On top of that the company gives him freedom and trust, which suits him enormously well.

The future

For the future within JAM-IT, Jeffrey's goal is to gain as much experience and knowledge as possible, so that he can call himself a fully fledged Mendix Developer as soon as possible. Ultimately he hopes to become an Expert/Senior.
