Meet the team: JAM-IT's Business IT intern Sonny

In this blog series we introduce our people to you. Today we introduce one of our newest team members: Sonny Hoang, intern at JAM-IT.

Sonny is currently in the final phase of the Business IT & Management programme at Avans in Breda. Before Sonny came to JAM-IT, he had gained experience in his field, mainly through his minor "Business innovation with Blockchain". That taught him a great deal about blockchain technology. He gets tremendously enthusiastic about disruptive technologies such as AI, Web3 and Blockchain, and he is keen to learn how these technologies can help improve business processes.

Sonny was introduced to JAM-IT when he was looking for the perfect graduation internship that matched what he wanted. He was looking for companies working with Mendix and soon ended up with us. He got in touch straight away, and we responded enthusiastically to his request to do his internship with us.

Role in the team

As an intern at JAM-IT, Sonny works on a challenging assignment that fits his studies well. It involves gathering the requirements and wishes for JamOps from existing clients and then developing them. He is enthusiastic about this assignment because it covers both the business and IT sides, and because he can learn a lot about Mendix.

The best thing about working at JAM-IT so far, Sonny says, is the pleasant combination of a creative and informal working environment. The atmosphere is very open and transparent, which made him feel at ease immediately and able to ask any question he had.

The future

Sonny is very much looking forward to learning everything about Mendix in the time ahead. He is sure this internship will help him, and he hopes to look back proudly on the result he has achieved at the end of it.
